Aalto University Excellence Scholarship

Jan 5, 2027 · 88 days left

A merit-based scholarship that waives the full tuition fee (€12,000–€20,000 a year, depending on the field) for the normal length of a master's programme at Aalto University in Finland. It is for the top-ranked applicants who have to pay tuition fees, which means most citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. It does not cover living costs, which students must fund themselves (at least €800 a month). Numbers are very limited and some programmes may award none. Apply by answering "yes" to the scholarship question on the master's application form; there is no separate application, and it cannot be requested before or after the application period. The scholarship decision comes with the admission decision. The application period for studies starting in autumn 2027 runs from 7 December 2026 (9:00) to 5 January 2027 (15:00, UTC+2). Results are due by 12 March 2027.
