Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden runs three scholarship schemes for first-year master's students from outside the EU/EEA who pay tuition fees, all through one application: • IPOET Scholarships (about 33 in 2026, government-funded): 75% off tuition for the two-year programme, rising to 85% in the second year for students who excel in the first. Any Chalmers master's programme. • Avancez Scholarships: 75% off tuition, rising to 85% in year two, spread across areas chosen by the university each year. • Adlerbert Study Scholarships (four in 2026): a full tuition waiver for citizens of 143 listed countries, for any master's programme. No money is paid to recipients, so living costs must be funded separately. Selection is on academic excellence (a weighted average grade of at least 80%), the standing of the home university, and how highly the applicant ranked Chalmers. Apply for the programme at universityadmissions.se first (the round is open from 16 October 2026 to 15 January 2027), then submit the separate Chalmers scholarship application with that application number between late November 2026 and mid-January 2027; the scholarship deadline follows the 15 January programme deadline. Awards are announced from mid-March to late April 2027.
You'll leave ScholAfrik to apply with Chalmers University of Technology.
