The Digital Creativity Art & Science European Master Program addresses the increasing demand for cross-disciplinary expertise in audio-visual content creation. This innovative initiative explores future narratives in interactive arts, films, games, and Extended Reality, envisioning diverse applications across art, entertainment, business, education, tourism, social issues, communication, and medical therapy tools. 2-year program, totaling 120 ECTS credits, unfolds across partner institutions: Jean Monnet University (France), Catholic University of Portugal Porto (Portugal), University of Silesia (Poland), and an elective location for the final semester. The curriculum includes standard core courses and a mandatory mobility and is conducted in English for a unified educational experience. Innovative learning elements emphasize student cooperation, forming interdisciplinary teams for audio-visual works. Admission requires candidates from four subject areas. Key components include: • Producer and artistic groups: Creating teams guided by supervision, explaining each student's contribution. • Practical work and technology integration: Engaging students in practical work using the latest technologies and equipment. • Industry collaboration: Establishing partnerships with institutions and companies for real-world insights. The curriculum prepares students for Augmented and Virtual Reality applications in diverse sectors, which will align with societal needs (as well as Metaverse trends). Semesters blend theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The first semester covers theory, sound-music, image, and video games. Subsequent semesters delve into film production and specializations and culminate in the fourth semester with academic writing, interdisciplinary studies, and a Master's project. The program's duration, credit distribution, and language of instruction ensure a standardized experience, positioning graduates for success in the dynamic landscape.
