"The current development perspective of the European Union (""2030 Digital Compass: the European way for the Digital Decade"") assumes that by 2030, 75% of enterprises in the EU should use the cloud, and at least 80% of the population should have basic digital skills. In line with these assumptions, but also on the basis of the needs analysis presented in the further part of the proposal, it was noticed that there will be a shortage of digitalization managers - not only in the area of implementation of digital transformation in the enterprise (in the technical aspect). You will also need managers who have the skills to lead the teams of today's digital organizations. Also, the current internationalization of enterprises and their globalization makes it more and more often necessary to have the skills to manage distributed (and intercultural) teams. Due to the fact that universities focused on education in the area of leadership, rarely combining this aspect with changes in the needs of digital transformation of organizations, there is a gap in the area of providing qualified management staff. Therefore, by joining forces of European and nonEuropean universities, it was decided to apply for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree grant, which to open international studies in the field of InterCultural Leadership in Digital Era (CLIDE) n two professional tracks: (1) leadership in digital era and (2) leading intercultural teams, supplementing it with professional practice. Consortium team: the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (Austria), University of Granada (Spain), Hassan II University in Casablanca (Morocco) and Simon Kuznets National Kharkiv University of Economics (Ukraine) and applicant - Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Poland)."
