Eighteen full scholarships a year for highly talented students from outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland and Suriname admitted to a participating full-time master's at Maastricht University. The scholarship pays tuition, a living allowance (€20,150 over 13 months for a one-year master's, €38,750 over 25 months for a two-year one), health and liability insurance, visa costs, and a mandatory two-week pre-academic training in August. It is very competitive: about 2% of applicants are selected. Applicants must be 35 or younger on 1 September 2027, must not hold EU/EEA or Swiss dual nationality, and must apply to a participating 2027–28 programme through Studielink first, with a complete application file, by 10 December 2026. Scholarship applications are open from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027 (23:59). The date shown is the 10 December master's application deadline, the first one a student must meet. Candidates hear about interviews and results between April and early May 2027.
