One of the most comprehensive scholarships at Ashesi University in Ghana, covering all fees, room and board, and learning resources, with additional support for scholars. There is no separate application: Ashesi's Admissions and Financial Aid Office decides which award a student receives, including this one, from the general scholarship application. Scholars are expected to give back to their communities as students and alumni. Ashesi and Arizona State University also offer scholars a route to an accelerated master's degree. Part of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, which supports academically talented young Africans who face financial or social barriers to education. The program particularly encourages applications from young women, refugees and displaced people, and people with disabilities.
