Sciences Po in Paris offers Mastercard Foundation scholarships for its two-year master's degrees in the humanities and social sciences, and for the Executive Master "Potentiel Afrique" in development policy and management for young professionals. It also runs a bridging programme for bachelor's graduates with refugee or displaced backgrounds. The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition and living expenses in France for the whole time the scholar studies at Sciences Po, with housing in Paris reserved for scholars. Support continues from selection until the scholar's first job, including entrepreneurship training with the Sciences Po Centre for Entrepreneurship. Sciences Po aims to support 1,450 African students and young professionals between 2024 and 2033. Applicants should show academic excellence, leadership potential and a commitment to change in Africa. Part of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, which supports academically talented young Africans who face financial or social barriers to education. The program particularly encourages applications from young women, refugees and displaced people, and people with disabilities.
