Postgraduate scholarships at the University of Cape Town for the 2027 intake. Alongside their studies, scholars receive leadership and career development, mentorship and access to the program's global alumni network. Applications for 2027 are open and close on 31 October 2026 for postgraduate study. Part of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, which supports academically talented young Africans who face financial or social barriers to education. The program particularly encourages applications from young women, refugees and displaced people, and people with disabilities.
