University of Twente Scholarship (UTS)

A scholarship for excellent students from outside the EU/EEA applying for a master's programme at the University of Twente, worth €3,000 to €22,000 for one year and paid to the student towards study costs. On two-year programmes it can be renewed for the second year for students with an average of at least 7 out of 10 and 50% of credits by the third quarter of the first year. Recipients can also be considered for the Kipaji Scholarship, for talented students from emerging economies in Africa, Asia and South America; interested applicants should say so in their UTS motivation. Applicants must be (provisionally) admitted to a qualifying master's programme starting in September 2027 and not be eligible for a Dutch study loan or the statutory tuition fee. Applications close on 1 April 2027 at 16:00 CET, and results are announced in the first week of May 2027.
